MEASURING: Your helper for converting ingredients and ratios

The measuring tool is one of the most useful tools in the kitchen. Very often, we use cups, tablespoons, or teaspoons as units of measurement for ingredients in cooking and baking.

Many times you ask me, how many grams is a teacup? How many grams in a cup and how many grams in a tablespoon? Here is a guide to help you easily convert from grams to cups, ml to cups, tablespoons to ml, tablespoons to cups.

If you want to measure accurately, it’s best to use standard measuring tools. Also keep in mind that if a recipe calls for tablespoons or teaspoons of an ingredient, the spoonfuls should be level. Only if the recipe specifies heaped, should you use heaped amounts.
