- 120 grams tarama
- juice of 2 lemons
- 1/2 onion
- 1 s.s. anice
- 400 grams. corn oil
- 80 grams water

I will use potatoes for my tarama recipe but you can also use bread.
6 medium potatoes, boiled with their skins on.
Allow them to cool a little, peel them and put them into your blender while they are still warm.
The secret for an excellent taramosalata is a good lighter shade tarama.
Add 3 tablespoons of tarama and about one-half of a large yellow onion into the blender.
As the mixture is blending, add the olive oil in a thin stream. And also lemon juice. I use one large lemon, but you can make the taramosalata to your taste.
Blend until mixture is smooth and creamy.
Add a little chopped dill.
Taste to see if it needs a little more lemon juice.
Serve it with fresh bread or flat bread or along with your favorite legumes.
